Maryland Writers Association Hosts Stephen Newton

On May, 2, 2025, the Maryland Writers Association hosted Stephen Newton as their featured speaker. The meeting was held via Zoom from 7 PM to 9 PM as part of the group's  First Friday's program, which features poets and writers throughout the year.

After explaining his process and why he writes, Newton read an excerpt from his short story To Forgive, The reading was followed by a Q & A and an open mic for those who wished to share their work.
